We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, and for nothing else. We do not sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing. There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics anywhere on this website.
Who we are
This website belongs to Sign4All, a sign maker in Toronto. If you have a question about your own information, write to info@sign4all.ca.
What we ask you for
The enquiry form asks for:
- Your name
- Phone
- Upload your logo
- Business name
- Sign usage
- Width
- Height
- Anything else?
- any file you attach, such as your logo or a photo of your building
- which kinds of sign you picked
Only the questions marked as required have to be answered. Anything else you can leave blank.
What we keep, and for how long
When you send the form, a record of it is stored on this website so we can find your enquiry again. That record holds:
- what you typed into the form
- the name and size of any file you attached — the file itself is sent to us and is not kept on the website
- the page you were on when you sent it
- the date and time
- the network address (IP address) your device was using
- whether our reply to you was sent successfully
We keep the 500 most recent enquiries. Older ones are deleted automatically as new ones arrive. Submissions that our anti-spam check refuses are kept separately, and only the last 100 of those.
Files you attach are sent to us and are not stored on the website — only their name and size are noted in the record.
Who else is involved
Running a website means other companies are unavoidably part of it. These are the only ones this site uses:
- NetlifyHosts this website and stores the requests sent through the form. It sees the address of the device asking for each page, which every web server necessarily sees.Their privacy policy
- Google FontsSupplies the two typefaces this site is set in. It sees the address of the device that loads them.Their privacy policy
- Cloudflare TurnstileChecks that the form is being filled in by a person rather than a machine. It sees the address of the device and how it behaves on the page, for that check only.Their privacy policy
- TelegramCarries a copy of each enquiry to us so we see it straight away. It sees what you typed into the form, and any file you attached.Their privacy policy
- YouTube or VimeoPlays a video on some pages, and only after you press play. It sees nothing at all until you press play; after that, what the video service normally sees.Their privacy policy
- WhatsAppOpens a chat with us, and only if you tap the WhatsApp button. It sees nothing unless you tap it, at which point you are in WhatsApp.Their privacy policy
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. It does remember two things inside your own browser, which never leave your device and which you can clear at any time from your browser settings:
- what you had already typed into the form, so a half-finished enquiry survives a refresh
- the appearance settings of the site, so it does not flicker while it loads
Asking us to delete your enquiry
Ask, and we will. Write to info@sign4all.ca and tell us roughly when you sent it and what name you used, so we can find the right one. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold.
